The premium mounting offered by our professional teams ensures many years of problem-free use of the pavement laid, irrespective of loads or the weather conditions in which it was laid.
The preliminary planning and preparation of the terrain are also of great importance for mounting, which is why we recommend that you take advantage of our complex service.
Laying a base layer of unprocessed, coarse-grained mineral materials (crushed stone/fraction).
The layer serves as both a solid and drainage foundation. It needs to be precisely leveled and compacted, and prepared for sprinkling with fine sand for a pavement with mostly pedestrian loading: the layer height must be not less than 15- 20 cm, with fraction size of 8-18 mm or greater; for a pavement with automobile loading: the layer height must be not less than 30-50 cm, with fraction size of 8-18 mm or greater.
A layer of fine sand is laid to form a sand bed – about 3-5 cm, with fraction size of 0-5 mm, prior to which additional geotextile insulation may be placed as well. The geotextile serves to maintain the drainage properties of the crushed stone. The sprinkling is to be followed by precise leveling.
The concrete product selected in its respective pattern and model is laid by additionally fixing the products one into another and along the entire upper surface so that they fasten steadily to their spacers and no air remains underneath; the minimum joint is 2- 4 mm.
It is recommended to begin the laying from an end or corner in order to save unnecessary cutting of the paving blocks. Compaction is mandatory before jointing by starting from the outside inwards along the entire area.
